Covance is expanding its biotechnology services business to the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a rapidly growing scientific service offering with one of the worlds premier drug development companies. The biotechnology business unit will provide a comprehensive portfolio of contract GLP and GMP laboratory services supporting the development and manufacture of biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and vaccine products.

We are currently seeking a Sr. Validation Engineer specializing in immunologically based assays to support our new biotechnology lab in Greenfield IN. As an Engineer in this group you will provide technical leadership in the validation of systems and instrumentation in the Biotechnology group and drive the definition and startup priorities of systems and SOPs supporting the validation of systems and instrumentation.
Requirements:
BS Degree 4+ years of experience supporting the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry in a validation function 2+ years of experience supporting the validation of laboratory equipment in a GMP regulated environment Expertise in the validation of laboratory instrumentation, software and data systems associated with GMP compliant laboratory operations Expert working knowledge of instrumentation and associated software supporting the activities of a GMP regulated biotechechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical laboratory This is a hands-on position
