Join our Trimble Navigation R&D team of engineers as a Specialist in RF design with strong experience integrating RF subsystems into mobile computing devices (Cellular, GPS, Wifi, BT, etc.). -Strong ability in modeling 2.5D and 3D RF architectures, with demonstrated experience in practical implementation of discovered solutions. -Must be adept at characterizing/optimizing antennas in mobile devices. (RF matching and SW parameters to balance SAR/Power Consumption/ TRP/TIS performance). -Source, design, model, and modify high-performing and innovative antenna systems. Must be skilled at modifications of RF subsystems to achieve quality goals and market schedules. -Experience with RF test equipment, network analyzers, power meters, etc., and with debugging device and board-level issues using standard instrumentation. -Experience with characterizing antennas in mobile devices. -Experience with creating software for test purposes. -Demonstrated ability in system EMI reduction. -Familiar with signal-integrity techniques for high-speed design. -Integration of multiple RF Architectures (Cellular, Wifi, BT, GPS) General requirements: -Provide solution-driven understanding of RF compliance requirements. -Must embody a practical capability ability to work a development problem on the benchtop. -Work closely with internal Product Development team and external partners on product development (prototype through manufacturing & test). -Excellent understanding and communication in the English language and an ability to generate and maintain clear and concise documentation. -Superior personal and organizational skills to lead, manage, and drive projects from start to finish.

Requirements:
Required experience: -BSEE Required, MSEE preferred. -Minimum 5 years experience required in above areas. -Previous RF/analog/antenna design experience -Prior functional RF design, including cellular (CDMA,W-CDMA, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS)
