Energy Solutions Engineer / Technical Support Engineer - Marketing Department HVAC Mechanical Engineer Energy Audits - Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Philadelphia County Residency Requirement within 12 months of hire
Responsibilities: Develop detailed energy and economic analyses to evaluate customer load profiles and consumption patterns associated with using natural gas and technologies for comparison to other energy sources. Develop creative technical solutions to meet customers energy requirements while growing gas load margin. Represent PGW in networking with industry peers and associations to keep abreast of any technical aspects of new HVAC developments, product offerings and regulatory changes. Perform technical research including codes, standards, and regulatory impacts and requirements for marketings cache of new ad existing products and services. Analyze sales team needs and develops technical resources, tools, networks, systems and procedures to streamline, track, monitor and support marketings project and program implementation. Perform energy audits and site inspections. Participates in sales presentations in order to cultivate customer relationships and identify new opportunities within customer accounts. Develop and implements technical seminars and presentations for customers, engineers, architects, developers, building owners and trade associates. Perform other special projects and assignments as needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Minimum education - BS in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) Certified Energy Manager (CEM) desirable 3 + Years Engineering Experience HVAC and other Energy Engineering Strong communication skills Residency Requirement: All employees of the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) must live in the City of Philadelphia for the duration of their employment. If a candidate does not live in the City of Philadelphia at the time of hire, he/she must move into the city within twelve (12) months of his/her hire date.
